We, David and Alice, will be biking the Camino Francés of the Camino de Santiago. We will start the 700km (500 miles) way from St Jean Pied de Mont, cross the majestic Pyrenees, traverse the hot plains at the north of the Meseta, enter mountainous (and sometimes rainy) Galicia, and arrive in history-filled Santiago de Compostela.
A train will take us from Ourense (David's hometown) to Pamplona on Monday, July 20. We will then take a bus to Roncesvalles or St. Jean Pied de Port (TBD). We will make our way to St. Jean one way or another, to then start pedaling the Way (el Camino) on Tuesday. An estimated 13 stages from 7/21 to 8/2 will put us into Santiago.
